Here is a more detailed look at the forecast for the Pittsburgh area:
- Monday Afternoon: Snow. High near 25. Southwest wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
- Tonight: Snow, mainly before midnight. Low around 18. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming light and variable. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
- Tuesday: A chance of snow, mainly after 4 p.m. It is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a high near 31. Calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
