Canonsburg Road Work Set for August

Here's what you need to know.

'Tis the season. For road work.

Canonsburg Manager Terry Hazlett said myriad road projects are scheduled for the borough this summer—and that work is expected to begin in August on Speer Street.

Curbing will also be completed at the Gateway Gardens on Adams Avenue.

Also on the list is Franklin from Perry Como to Fifth.

The next project—likely to take place in October—will be work on Franklin Avenue from Perry Como to Fifth, Park Drive from West Pitt Street to North Avenue, Church Way extension from its terminus to Church Way, and the 400 and 600 blocks of Duquesne Avenue.
