A Burgettstown woman died in a two-vehicle crash that happened on state Route 18 in Hanover Township Thursday afternoon, Washington County Coroner Tim Warco confirmed.

He said Debra L. Strong, 57, of Main Street, died from injuries suffered in the crash. He has ruled her death an accident.

Strong was a passenger in a Chevrolet sedan that was traveling northbound

Strong was pronounced at the scene.

The operator of the vehicle in which she was a passenger, along with an occupant of the truck, were transported to area hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.

The roadway was shut down Thursday afternoon so that state police could investigate.
