Town Park Pool is a summertime destination, with its cool water, slides, concession stand and live music—but the fun has to come to and end sometime.

This year, Town Park Pool will end its daily schedule the weekend of Aug. 25-26.

But it wouldn't be Canonsburg unless the closure was paired with a song or two (it is, after all, American's Small Town Music Capital).

So, the borough will close the official pool season with a special concert by Lady & the Tramps from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25. The concert is free with admission to the pool.

The concert is also a preview of this year’s Pennsylvania Bavarian Oktoberfest— where Lady & the Tramps will be headlining Saturday, Sept. 15.

There will also be some last-chance days to swim over the Labor Day weekend.

Town Park Pool will reopen for the holiday Sept. 1, 2 and 3 . Hours will be noon to 6 p.m.
