Graffiti Reported in Lawrence Park, Criminal Mischief at Hotel

Police ask for your help in both incidents.

Cecil Township police said someone wrote "(expletive deleted) you" with spray paint on two picnic tables in the park on Third Street in Lawrence this past weekend.

Police said a member of the parks and recreation board reported the graffiti Monday morning—and that the damage extended beyond the two tables.

Police said someone also tagged the chain link fence, bleachers and basketball posts with orange spray paint.

Police said the employee told officers that someone attempted to enter the pop machines located on each floor of the hotel, and that the device that accepts paper money on one of the machines was damaged.

It was unclear if any money was taken, police said—adding that this has been an ongoing problem.
