America's Pop Music Hall of Fame—a national musum headquartered in Canonsburg—will announce its Top 40 nominations for induction into the hall Saturday during the borough's Oktoberfest celebration.

In the meantime, the Hall of Fame board is seeking volunteers to steer committees for the concert, banquet, memorabilia and building.

"It is an amazing opportunity to be part of the original group that is creating a music dynamo that we feel will be on an equal standing with the rock and roll, country and jazz hall of fames," said Terry Hazlett, chairman of the selection committee.
