Neighborhood Disturbance Leads to Arrest of Canonsburg Man
Police report possible additional charges.
According to witnesses and participants, a fight broke out between John Lloyd and Jason Reichelt at 325 Summit St. when Lloyd refused to move his truck to let Reichelt leave. Lloyd was looking for information on his grandson.
Lloyd was found bleeding from the face and Reichelt with blood on his hands. A witness indicated that Reichelt punched Lloyd. Medics were called to the scene but Lloyd refused treatment.
Reichelt said he knew Lloyd had a gun, which was found to be properly registered and was not witnessed during the altercation, police reported.
Upon checking the individuals, police found that Reichelt had an outstanding warrant for his arrest from Washington County Court of Common Pleas for a “failure to appear” for a first offense DUI charge. Police transported Reichelt to the Washington County Jail.
Reichelt was also found to be in possession of a glass pipe with suspected cocaine residue on it. Both Lloyd and Reichelt will be charged with disorderly conduct, according to the police report.
The grandson was located and found to be fine.
