1 Samuel 2:10 - The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of Heaven shall He thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and He shall give strength unto His King, and exalt the horn of His anointed.

Matthew 28:18 - And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in Heaven and in earth.

Jesus is the King referred to in this passage from Samuel. Through His death and resurrection, He has conquered death and evil. The Bible promises that Christ will return to deliver the final blow to destroy death and evil once and for all and establish His Kingdom of peace for eternity. Many folks believe this will be happening very soon.
