Photo of the Day!

Do you remember when Rite Aid in Canonsburg was right beside Shop n' Save before they moved next door? Looks like a new store will be going in!

I talked to someone who told me that it is going to be a plumbing supply store.

It looked like some sort of hardware store like that. Amanda, might be worth looking into! I have a couple more window pics I took last night, I'll upload them to the Pic and Clips gallery!

A friend told me they read in the O-R today that the Washington Goodwill is remolded or moved or something, not really sure, haha.

They built a new store. It's still on Jefferson Ave. I just drove by it the other day but I'm not sure if it is right in the exact same spot it was but it is on the same block.

Donald: You were right! I went and asked on Downtowns' facebook page today about it, Keystone Hardware will be going in to the old Rite Aid by Shop n' Save. Amanda: May be worth looking into to see when they are gonna open up

The Goodwill store is in the same location as before, and they're celebrating their grand opening. If I'm not mistaken, it is supposed to be one day this week. I'll see if I can find the info :)

I'm very happy to see that someone is finally going to occupy the old Rite Aid. I think a hardware store will be a great addition to Canonsburg. I pray that their business will be a great success and the business will lead to many new career opportunities for local citizens

I just hope it stays! With Bahr being down the street and having been in business for so long in this area you know? Here's hoping! Yay more employment opportunities!

I remember when Lowe's and Home Depot first came to Washington, many folks thought it would kill West Washington Hardware and a few others. Everyone survived. The old store on Wheeling st went out of biz as a result of retirement. I can't remember what ended up causing Thompson Hardware to close. But I think that sometimes a bit of competition can actually help.
