The second half of the month is bringing several programs to the Frank Sarris Public Library, and it is certainly hoped that you'll decide to take advantage of these opportunities to take part in one or more of them! Here's what we've got coming up in the next couple of weeks:
- This Saturday (January 19) from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., the library will be hosting a birthday party in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Everyone is invited, so bring the whole family for crafts, stories, fun, and cake! Advance registration is appreciated, so be sure to call or drop in to sign up.
- On Thursday, January 24, another family-friendly program will be taking place - this one at 6:30 p.m. You're welcome to try your hand at some of the art techniques used in Caldecott winning books and are encouraged to vote for your favorite picture book.
- Before the month closes out, the Sarris Library will be offering a sneak peek at the Summer Reading Club. Please call or stop in to register, then mark your calendar for Thursday, January 31 at 6:30 and join us to learn the coming summer's theme, make a craft, and have some fun!
