Today's daily verse will be in a separate post. Today's selection is from chapter 24 of the Gospel of Matthew. It is a fairly long one, however, I feel it is very important that I post it in full.

As I read this chapter, it almost feels as though Jesus was looking 2000 years into the future reading our modern day news headlines. Rape, murder, kidnapping, racial hatred, war, nuclear threats, immorality, corrupt governments, natural disasters, the list goes on.

As humans, it is natural for us to be troubled by these things. But Christ told us these things must and will happen. He promised us that the end will soon follow. With that end shall come Christ's glorious return. What a wonderful day that will be!
