Quoting: "... The agreement reached this week by President Obama and Congress to avert the Fiscal Cliff was both historic and disappointing — and it leaves much unsettled. ...." Your statement is contradictory. As the second part says, "... unsettled," yet the first part says the crisis was averted. Everybody knows not much was averted. The headlines about aversion were catching, but misleading. Politicians made political hay with use of the word, but those who are effected thing otherwise. As you point out, much has yet to be settled (e.g. debt ceiling, entitlement reform, spending cuts).

Roger, that is true that the statement is contradictory, but so was the agreement. Did you click the link to voice your valuable opinion on the survey? More people will get to see it there. Thanks
