Are you ready for a gala for a good cause?
Because Cecil Township-based Jameson's Army will host its second annual Green Heart Gala in April.
Jameson’s Army is a non–profit organization whose mission is, “Raising awareness and funding for children and families affected by congenital heart disorders.”
The creation of the army was inspired by 2-year-old Jameson McKain’s ongoing battle with hyponastic left heart syndrome.
Jameson was born missing the left side of his heart. He has undergone six open heart surgeries and a successful heart transplant. Jameson is doing well but it is an ongoing process that is never easy.
Jameson’s Army helps to ease this road for other children and families that are on a similar journey.
On Friday, April 12 Jameson’s Army will hold its second annual Green Heart Gala from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the LeMont Restaurant in Mt. Washington, Pittsburgh.
There will be dancing, cocktails and appetizers. Additionally, Randy Baumann and Bill Crawford from WDVE will be emceeing the event.
Interested? Those who would like an invitation mailed to them or those who know of a company or individual that would be interested in a sponsorship or donation to the raffle held at the gala contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org .
