Don't Stop Believing: Journey Tribute Band and More at The Meadows in August
Velveeta, the Idol Kings and Bo Wagner's Rat Pack all perform in August at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino in North Strabane Township.
The entertainment lineup at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino in August is sure to please the fans of The Rat Pack, Elvis, John Mellencamp and Journey.
Weekend entertainment also includes a mix of national and local performers.
All shows are free admission.
And the fun starts Friday, with the popular local band, Velveeta.
Here's the schedule of events slated for Silks Lounge at The Meadows this month:
- Aug. 2: Velveeta, 8 p.m.
- Aug 3: Sydney Hutchko, 9 p.m.
- Aug. 9: PGH Band, 8 p.m.
- Aug. 10: Bo Wagner’s Rat Pack, 8 p.m.
- Aug. 16: Tres Lads, 8 p.m.
- Aug. 17: Walt Sanders & the Cadillac Band, 9 p.m.
- Aug. 23: Jimbo & the Soupbones, 8 p.m.
- Aug. 24: Totally 80’s, 8 p.m.
- Aug. 30: Ruff Creek, 8 p.m.
- Aug. 31: Idol Kings, 8 p.m.
But the entertainment isn't exclusive to Silks Lounge.
There will also weekly events at Pacers Lounge.
At 9 p.m. every Friday in August, disc jockey AJ Fresh will battle it out with a country artist. At 9 p.m. Saturday, AJ Fresh and his Fresh Girl-Club Music will perform.
