A Bridgeville resident is starring as the lead character in a musical playing right now in Mt. Lebanon.

Mark Pintea is playing Jesus in the “Godspell!” musical at the Mt. Lebanon High School auditorium.

The former Chartiers Valley students is now studying at the Lincoln Park Performing Arts School in Beaver County.

Mark also had a big role in last year's production of "Zombie Prom."

The performance includes students from across the South Hills who are members of the Center for Theater Arts.  The center, which is located at 250 Mt. Lebanon Blvd. in Castle Shannon, serves about 450 families a week through performing arts, singing, acting, musical theater and dance.

The performance of “Godspell!” opens Thursday night and continues through Saturday. There are evening performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, in addition to a matinee Saturday at 2 p.m.
