With the click of a mouse, you could earn money for Canon McMillan School District students—and you don’t even have to open your own pocketbook to do it.
Target’s popular “Give with Target” program is back for the second year in a row.
The company is inviting Facebook users to help them allocate a $5 million donation to schools across the nation to help those schools get more of the things they need, including electronics, school and office supplies and storage and organization products.
Here’s how to get started.
Once a school has received 25 votes, Target will donate $1 per vote, with a maximum donation of $10,000 per school.
The campaign runs through Sept. 21, or until the full $5 million has been allocated.
At the end of the campaign, the school that reaches 10,000 votes first or receives the highest number of votes will get a special celebration, including appearances by celerity members of the Give With Target “Class of 2013,” a live musical performance and more.
The “Class of 2013” celebrities include LaLa Anthony, Sophia Bush, U.S. Olympic gymnast Gabrielle Douglas, Super Bowl champ Donald Driver and country music star Luke Bryan.
