Who's Hiring in the Canon-McMillan Area?

Here are five job openings in our area.

1. Waste Water Management Operator

Canonsburg Borough is accepting applications for a waste water treatment plant operator. An operator license is a plus but not necessary. The successul candidate must be able to work all shifts in all weather conditions and have a valid driver’s license. 2. Part-Time Evening Cleaner

Hardy Enterprises, LLC is looking for a candidate (18 or older) to fill a part-time position in McMurray. The employee will work independently, cleaning a medical/professional office building located in Waterdam Plaza. Duties include trash removal, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, general dusting, etc.  This part-time evening cleaning position is Monday-Friday, approximately three to four hours per night. Reliable transportation is required and a criminal background check will be conducted before hiring. The rate of pay is $8 per hour. 3. Caregiver

Visiting Angels is a non-medical home care agency located in Canonsburg that assists seniors with daily tasks in order to keep them in the homes they love. The company is looking for compassionate caregivers who love working with the elderly. Job duties include meal preparation, light housekeeping, assisting with personal care, running errands, etc. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be able to work at least one weekend per month. 4. Director of Transportation

The Peters Township School District is currently accepting applications for director of transportation. Experience in management of school district transportation, general and mechanical systems, proficiency with technology is required. 5. Receptionist

Apria Healthcare is looking for a candidate to fill this part-time position—25 hours a week—in Canonsburg. Among other job duties, the receptionist position involves attending to visitors and dealing with inquiries on the phone and face to face.
