Freezing Rain, Snow, Sleet Possible Overnight in Canonsburg

A mix of rain, snow and sleet are possible in the early hours of Wednesday morning in Washington County.

The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has posted the following weather forecast for the Canonsburg area.

  • Tonight: Rain, snow, freezing rain, and sleet likely before 3 a.m., then rain and snow likely, possibly mixed with sleet. Cloudy, with a low around 29. North wind 6 to 9 mph becoming east after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. Total nighttime snow and sleet accumulation of less than one inch possible.
  • Wednesday: chance of rain and sleet before 11 a.m., then a slight chance of rain between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 38. Light and variable wind becoming west 6 to 11 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
  • Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. Southwest wind around 11 mph.
  • Thursday: slight chance of snow showers after 8 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 35. West wind 9 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
