The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has posted the following weather forecast for the Canonsburg area.
- Tonight: Rain, snow, freezing rain, and sleet likely before 3 a.m., then rain and snow likely, possibly mixed with sleet. Cloudy, with a low around 29. North wind 6 to 9 mph becoming east after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. Total nighttime snow and sleet accumulation of less than one inch possible.
- Wednesday: chance of rain and sleet before 11 a.m., then a slight chance of rain between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 38. Light and variable wind becoming west 6 to 11 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
- Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. Southwest wind around 11 mph.
- Thursday: slight chance of snow showers after 8 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 35. West wind 9 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
