Cecil Park - Helping Hands project

Helping Hands for Cecil Parks  -

Helping Hands for Cecil Parks will be held on Saturday September 14, 2013 from 9 AM to 1 PM (rain or shine).

Four parks will be worked on as volunteers are available. Cecil Park, and three parklettes Hendersonville, Lawrence, South View Parks The more that come, the more that can be done, for your parks.

Your parks should be something that you are proud of, please come out for a few hours and help out.
Any and all abilities are welcome.

This community service event will be to spruce up the parks, and give them the attention they deserve without spending tax payer money. 
Painting, cleaning, and clearing are most of the needs.

The Parks are for the residents of the community and maintaining them is a huge expense when hiring professional contractors.

This event will save a great deal of money that will be used to purchase replacement benches, swing sets, slides, make major repairs and maintain the facilities we have. Without your help, those things will not get done.
