Community Corner

Corn Hole for the Cure 2014

This year's second annual Corn Hole for the Cure is a breast cancer fundraising event in memory of Dori Baker. Dori was an active member in the community, often volunteering her time to her three kids through lil mac and big mac cheerleading and football, as well as various other events.  She was also very active in donating her time towards finding a cure for cancer and helping others battling the disease. She was an inspiration to all who have ever known her and she fought her four year battle with stage IV breast cancer courageously without ever complaining. Her family hosts the Corn Hole for the Cure to continue Dori's fight and to help create a world where no family has to lose someone to breast cancer and no person has to battle breast cancer. Join us for a fun tournament, lots of food, and raffles on July 19th at Cecil Park (Pavilion 3)! All proceeds are being donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, which donates 91% of all funds to breast cancer research.
