'Come on Down' to 'The Price is Right Live!'

"Come on Down!" to see "The Price is Right Live!" at the Benedum Center May 9.

If you’ve ever dreamed of hearing “Come on down!” you’re dream could come true Thursday, May 9 at the Benedum Center when “The Price is Right Live!” tour rolls into town with host, Mark Walberg.

“We all grew up with ‘The Price is Right,’” said Walberg. “This is a chance for audiences to have some fun with a show they know and love. Also, they could win big money and prizes!”

The show will feature all the elements of “The Price is Right” people know and love right here in Pittsburgh like “Plinko,” “Cliffhanger” and even the big wheel and a chance to win big prizes!

“Same music, set fun and probably more winners on the live show because we try to get as many people involved as possible,” said Walberg. “Also, a much bigger audience with incredible energy.”

All audience members can register to play online at www.trustarts.org or the day of the event and every audience member is eligible to be on stage. Of course there will also be prizes, but not quite to the extreme as on the television show.

“Most of the prizes and showcase items are a little smaller in scale than the TV show,” said Walberg. “Audiences can still win big money, fun prizes and possibly a car. I gave one away in Calgary as a matter of fact.”

While some people may be included to deck out their wardrobe in hopes of being noticed, Walberg said it will have no impact on being pulled on stage, but he said he loves seeing the costumes! But, if you don’t make it on stage during the event you might be lucky enough to win from your seat.

“After every pricing game, we call the names of audience members to win gift cards and t-shirts and smaller prizes,” said Walberg.

Playing to sell-out shows nationwide, “The Price is Right Live!” has given away more than 10 million dollars in cash and prizes to more than 1.2 million fans. The event will be hosted by television personality, Mark Walberg, known for “Antiques Roadshow,” “Temptation Island,” and “Moment of Truth.”

Great seats are still available for “The Price is Right Live!” and available at www.trustarts.org. Tickets start at $47.50 with a limited number of VIP tickets available.

As Walberg said, “Come on down!”
