The holidays are steeped in tradition.
And Canonsburg is no different.
Tomorrow—Friday—it will continue one of its annual events: "Lite the Nite."
Borough officials cordially invite you to join them at 5 p.m. Friday in front of the borough building, where Mayor David H. Rhome will light the community tree.
And that's not all.
The festivities will continue with some other holiday favorites, including holiday songs and even free hot cocoa, courtesy of the Handle Bar and Grille.
The fun will continue Saturday with Canonsburg's Old-Fashioned Christmas event. Then on Sunday, a living nativity will be showcased in Downtown Canonsburg.
"My hope is the community will come out and participate and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas," Rhome said.
