Wanted (by Your Library): Mr. - or Ms. - Right

If you didn't see the ad in the Observer-Reporter a few weeks ago, you're probably unaware that the Frank Sarris Public Library is looking to add to its staff.  The Library is seeking an individual to fill the part-time (15-20 hours/week) position of Library Clerk.  Primary responsibilities include checking in and out materials using a computerized circulation system, assisting patrons with technology, processing and shelving library materials, helping with library programming and other tasks as assigned.  This position includes weekday, evening and weekend shifts and flexibility in scheduling is a must.  If this sounds like it would suit you - and vice versa - you should apply by emailing a cover letter and resume to:  ptseng@franksarrislibrary.org

If you're not ready for that level of commitment, or if you'd like to "get your feet wet" and see what the library's all about, you might consider volunteering. If you can spare a few hours a week for the benefit of your library, please let us know! Volunteer applications are available online at the library's website or at its main circulation desk.
