Obituary: Ann M. Cavasina Zeszutek, 95, of Canonsburg

Ann M. Cavasina Zeszutek, 95, of Canonsburg, died on her 95th birthday, Friday, Nov. 2, 2012.

She was born Nov. 2, 1917 in Canonsburg, a daughter of Frank and Maria Imperatore Cavasina.

Ann was a member of Saint Patrick Church. She served on the Election Board for many years was a homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo.

Her husband, Bernard E. Zeszutek, died Jan. 14, 2002.

Surviving are two sons, Bernard W. Zeszutek Sr. and wife Frances of Cecil, Dennis F. Zeszutek and wife Cecilia of Cecil, one daughter, Phyliss A. Simon of Canonsburg, eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Ann was the last of her immediate family. Deceased are four brothers, Joseph, Guy, Patsy and Frank “Jiggs” Cavasina, and one sister, Marietta Cummins.

Friends will be received Sunday—today—from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Sollon Funeral Home, 30 E. College St., where departing prayers will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick Church. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Gardens in McMurray.
