Ethel Marie Best, 82, of Canonsburg, died Thursday, June 27, 2013 in Townview Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born December 27, 1930 in Washington, a daughter of Clarence and Viola Plants Armstrong. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed farming, gardening, cooking, spending time with her family and her pets.
Surviving are her son, Robert Newton Best, of Ellwood City; her sister, Betty Marie Plants, of Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Louis) Nunez; Joshua (Lesley) Best; Skylar Peffer; Tami Lynn (James) Palmer; Justin (Erin) Best; seven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander C. Best. There will be no public visitation, and services are private.
