Obituary: Jane Riggs Baucom, Champion Golfer

Jane Riggs Baucom, 80, of Canonsburg, formerly of Ramsey, N.J., on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013.

Jane was preceded in death by beloved husband Keith Kendall Baucom and loving son Kendall Baucom. She was the devoted mother of Jody (Bruce) Muti and Mandy (Fred) Carragher; caring grandmother of Travis (Samantha) Muti, Kendra (Alfred Gigante) Muti, Katherine Carragher, and Andrew Carragher; and proud great-grandmother of Giada Muti and Anthony Keith Muti.

Jane was a champion golfer, well-known at the Ramsey Golf and Country Club. She was a dedicated bridge player in the USABAS and a regular volunteer at Canonsburg General Hospital, and she loved to challenge herself with puzzles of all kinds.

Services by Beinhauers. A memorial service to celebrate Jane’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Jane and Keith’s memory to the MS Society.
