63-Year-Old Canonsburg Woman Briefly Jailed for Alleged Retail Theft in Peters
Kathleen Joy was arraigned for retail theft Wednesday.
A 63-year-old Canonsburg woman was briefly jailed after being charged by Peters Township Police for retail theft, which is a misdemeanor.
Online court records show Kathleen Joy was arraigned Wednesday before district Judge Ethan Ward, and remanded to the Washington County Jail after failing to initially post a $5,000 percentage bond.
She was released a few hours later, according to the jail list.

According to the Observer-Reporter, Joy allegedly stole $185 worth of merchandise from the Giant Eagle in Peters Township.
Online court records show that Joy is scheduled to appear before district Judge James Ellis at 1:45 p.m. Jan. 15.
