Canonsburg police were summoned to McGrogan's Tap Room on East Pike Street for a report of a man passed out on the sidewalk out front of the business.

Police said a bar employee said the man, later identified as Nathan Charmichael of Coraopolis, had been asked to leave the establishment earlier.

It took officers three tried to rouse Charmichael, who appeared "confused and intoxicated" once he was awake, a police report indicated.

Police placed the man in handcuffs and told him he was under arrest for public intoxication, to which he reportedly replied, "I don't care."
