Canonsburg Cruiser Hit By Suspected Drunk Driver
Canonsburg police Chief R.T. Bell confirmed that the female driver will likely be charged with driving under the influence.
A suspected drunk driver will likely be charged after she reportedly slammed her vehicle into a Canonsburg police cruiser early Thursday morning, causing significant damage to one of the department's new vehicles.
"It was really damaged," police Chief R.T. Bell confirmed.
The crash happened while police were on a call around 1 a.m., and Bell said the lights were flashing when the woman's car careened into the cruiser.
