Canonsburg Man Charged With DUI in Cecil
The charge stems from an incident early Sunday morning.
Cecil Township police charged a Canonsburg man with driving under the influence following a traffic stop at Baker and Morganza roads early Sunday morning.
Police said officers observed a silver Saab turn left on Morganza without using a turn signal just after 1 a.m. Sunday.
Police then initiated a traffic stop and asked the driver, William S. Sibilia, 36, if he had consumed any alcohol that evening.

He reportedly told officers, “I’m not gonna lie, I had a few drinks,” according to a police report.
Officers said they noted the smell of alcoholic beverages emanating from the man, and that his eyes were bloodshot and glassy.

After field sobriety tests showed signed of impairment, Sibilia was taken to the Cecil Township Police Department for a breath test.
The test showed that showed his blood-alcohol content was .140, which is above the legal limit in Pennsylvania.
Police said in addition to the DUI charge, he is also be cited for not using a turn signal.
