Canonsburg Man Indicted on Drug Charges

Louis Spinnenweber, Jr. is accused of conspiring to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute one kilogram or more of heroin.

A federal grand jury on Tuesday issued superseding indictments in six related cases involving drug trafficking and violence in Homestead, according to the Department of Justice.

The superseding indictments added new firearms and drug trafficking counts and one additional defendant, to drug and gun charges filed against 34 people on March 14.

The original indictments followed a year-long federal, state, and local law enforcement investigation.

Among those arrested was a man from Canonsburg.

Louis Spinnenweber, Jr., 34, of 817 Hillcrest Dr., is accused of conspiring to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute one kilogram or more of heroin.
