Canonsburg Man Jailed on Drug, Paraphernalia Warrant

Todd Higgins was remanded to the Washington County Jail after district Judge David Mark set his bond at $25,000.

Canonsburg police took a borough man into custody on a warrant for possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a search of his home Friday night.

The warrant was from an incident that happened in May, online court records show.

Police executed the warrant on the 414 Duquesne Ave. home of Todd Higgins in an attempt to locate his brother, Jason Chadwick.

Officers found Chadwick hiding under a bed—and also discovered several pieces of paraphernalia in plain view while doing so, according to a Canonsburg police report.

According to a Canonsburg police report, officers noticed a metal spoon, a piece of Chore Boy, 11 empty stamp bags, eight used hypodermic needles and two razor blades in an open black-and-silver case. Charges related to these items will be filed, police said.
