Canonsburg police are investigating a report of a robbery involving a gun that happened Thursday night in the borough.
Police said Jerome Vanqueen reported the robbery to officers Sunday afternoon.
According to a police report, Vanqueen said he and his brother were exiting the Snowy White laundromat on West Pike Street when a black male with a gun told them to get into their vehicle.
Once all three were inside the gunman ordered Vanqueen to drive him to a store in Washington - and added that he would shoot them if they moved or made any noise.
Vanqueen complied, dropping the man off near the Family Dollar in the city, where he entered a waiting four-door dark grey car that sped away, according to a police report.
Vanqueen said the man stole both his wallet and that of his brother. About $280 was inside the wallets, according to police.
The alleged robber was described as being in his mid-twenties, wearing shorts and a T-shirt.
He was described as being 5-foot-10-inches tall with short hair and a slim build.
No further information was immediately available Monday.
