Cecil Police Charge Peters Man with Theft

Mark Anton was remanded to the Washington County Jail Thursday.

Cecil Township police charged a Peters Township man with theft by unlawful taking on last week.

The charges against Mark Anton, 55, were filed Wednesday, online court records show.

Cecil police said Anton stole utility trailer containing 500 feet of aluminum wire owned by West Penn Power, according to the Observer-Reporter.

The Washington County Jail list indicates that Anton was arrested on a parole violation.

He is awaiting an arraignment before district Judge Valerie Costanzo, online court records show.
