Man Driving ATV Charged With DUI

The incident happened Sunday afternoon.

When Cecil police observed a white Yamaha ATV travelling north on Georgetown Road and then making a right onto Church Street in Lawrence Sunday afternoon, officers pulled the operator over—as no recreation vehicles are permitted on township roadways.

But the driver, Brian Ceglarski, 49, of 481 Georgetown Road, ended up being arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after officers noted he smelled of alcohol and then failed field sobriety tests.

Officers noted that he was also driving with a suspended license.

When Ceglarski was taken into custody, police said they also found long metal pipe with marijuana residue inside.

Officers transported the man to the Cecil Township Police Department, where a breath test showed Ceglarski’s blood-alcohol content to be .09 percent.
