Man Killed When Tree Falls on Him

Richard N. Toci of Eighty Four was found by family members Saturday morning.

An Eighty Four man died Saturday when a tree he was cutting down in a wooded area of Brownlee Road in Somerset Township fell on him, Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said.

Warco said Richard N. Toci, 62, was discovered by family members. He was pronounced dead at 11:35 a.m. Saturday.

His cause of death was listed as blunt force trauma. It was ruled an accident.
