Missing Girl Found In Southpointe After Search Sunday

Cecil Township police said a 9-year-old girl who had run away from her arguing parents was recovered after an hour-long search Sunday afternoon.

Police said the girl's parents, who were driving through Southpointe while traveling through the area, began verbally arguing when her father reportedly said, ' take the keys and run.'

The girl did - causing a search of the area that included Cecil and Peters Township police, Cecil and Muse volunteer fire departments, and even state police helicopters.

Police said the girl was found uninjured.

No charges will be files as a result of the incident, police said.
