Nearby: Heroin, Cash Seized After Warrant Served in City of Washington

Authorities seized 103 stamp bags of heroin, a marijuana growing operation with 28 live marijuana plants and $2,967.

Washington County District Attorney Gene Vittone on Friday said two arrests were made and drugs were confiscated from a City of Washington residence following an investigation by the Washington County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force, Pennsylvania State Police and the Washington Police Department.

After complaints were received about potential drug activity in the area, an investigation was conducted by the task force and a search warrant was obtained and executed for 79 Seminole Ave.

This search warrant was the result of an investigation into the trafficking of narcotics from this residence and centered on Amanda Ammer, 27, and Donald Sadler, 28.

Found inside the residence and seized, as a result of the search, were 103 stamp bags of heroin, a marijuana growing operation with 28 live marijuana plants and $2,967.

Sadler was arrested on an outstanding state police arrest warrant and arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger. He was remanded to the Washington County Jail after being unable to post a $35,000 bond, online court records show.

Juan Watson, 25, who was present at the time of the execution of the search warrant, was also arrested. He was lodged in the Washington County Jail on an outstanding bench warrant.

Vittone said drug charges will be filed by Washington County Drug Task Force.
