Washington County District Attorney Eugene A. Vittone announced Monday night that the Washington County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force arrested an Ellworth man wanted on drug charges.
When Darnell Simpson, 27, was taken into custody at a bar in Bentleyville Friday, he was in possession of more than 10 grams of cocaine and $1,400 in cash, Vittone said.
The arrest was made in cooperation with members of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the Pennsylvania State Police and the Southwest Regional Police Department.
Simpson faces charges of possession with intent to deliver cocaine—which is a felony.
He was remanded to the Washington County Jail on $ 25,000 straight bond.
