North Strabane Man Charged After Allegedly Throwing Spike Through Window

Police charged Philip P. Renko with reckless endangerment and criminal mischief following the alleged incident.

A North Strabane man remains in the Washington County Jail after township police said he threw a spike through the window of his estranged wife this past weekend.

Police charged Philip P. Renko, 49, on Saturday with reckless endangerment and criminal mischief following the alleged incident, according to online court records.

He was also charged with violating a protection from abuse order, the Observer-Reporter indicated.

Renko was arraigned Saturday before district Judge James Ellis and remanded to the Washington County Jail after he was unable to post a $25,000 bond.

He is scheduled to appear before district Judge Jay Weller at 10:15 a.m. Aug. 27, according to online court records.
