Omaha Man Jailed for Alleged Assault

William Weatherford remains in the Washington County Jail.

An Omaha, Nebraska man remains in Washington County Jail after North Strabane police charged him Friday with public drunkenness, simple assault and disorderly conduct, online court records show.

William Weatherford, 47, is accused of striking another man—Robert M. Allman II—at the Super 8 Motel, according to the Observer-Reporter.

Weatherford was arraigned Friday before district Judge Ethan Ward, who remanded him to the Washington County Jail after he was unable to post a $5,000 straight bond, according to online records.

He was still listed as an inmate at the Washington County Jail as of Tuesday.

Weatherford is scheduled to appear before district Judge Jay Weller at 10 a.m. Dec. 18.
