One Injured in Interstate 79 Crash
Traffic is backed up in the area of the Southpointe exit.
One person was injured in a three-vehicle accident that happened on Interstate 79 Tuesday afternoon, according to media reports and first reponders.
The accident had the interstate closed and traffic snarled, according to WPXI-TV.
The Observer-Reporter indicated that a vehicle hit a median and then another vehicle head-on. The accident also involved a tractor-trailer, the paper indicated on its website.

A Washington County 911 supervisor said state police are investigating but had no further information Tuesday afternoon.
