Wires, Trees Down; Roads Closed in Cecil

Here's what you need to know.

A Washington County 911 supervisor has confirmed that high-tension wires are down on Muse Bishop Road just south of Wilson Road in Cecil Township.

There is a tree reportedly hanging across the wires there.

Township public works employees are also responding to a tree down on Burnside Road and Rose Avenue, township Manager Don Gennuso said Monday night.

Also: First responders are blocking the road at McConnell and Muse Bishop. A transformer blew in the area of 2 Wilson Road—and parts of Mawhinney Road and the Fleeher Plan are now without electric, the supervisor confirmed.
