Cecil Residents Who Experienced Flood Damage Asked to Call Township

Recent storms that ripped through the region caused major flooding in the Cecil Township area—wiping out backyards, submerging playgrounds and filling basements with water.

Sound familiar?

If your home or business experienced flooding damage from the recent storm, Cecil Township wants to hear from you.

Please contact the Cecil Township Municipal Offices between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday by calling 724-745-2227 if your business or home had any water damage associated from the storms between the dates of June 27 through and including July 12.

Township Manager Don Gennuso said the township has been asked to submit a damage report to county officials, who will then forward on the information to the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency to determine what, if any, aid might be available.
