Music Acts For 'Hot Diggity' Days Announced

Two bands have been announced for the second-annual event. See who.

Canonsburg borough Manager Terry Hazlett has announced the first two bands to play "Hot Diggity Days"—what he calls Washington County’s premiere oldies festival.

Sugarcane, what Hazlett calls a "mainstay" at area music venues since the 1970s, will be featured starting at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 19. The band will be preceded at noon by American Pie.

with its accent on ‘50s and ‘60s music, will also feature food booths, crafts, a children’s area and other attractions in downtown Canonsburg.

The event is a fundraiser for America’s Pop Music Hall of Fame, which is expected to open its doors later this year.
