North Strabane Approves Tax Settlement With The Meadows

The terms of the settlement agreement dictate the township remit a one-time payment to The Meadows.

North Strabane Township supervisors on Tuesday unanimously approved a tax appeal settlement agreement with The Meadows Racetrack & Casino.

The agreement calls for North Strabane Township to remit a one-time refund of $310,830 to The Meadows.

Canon-McMillan School District signed the agreement last month. The terms of the agreement stipulate that the district repay The Meadows $2.9 million via five annual payments of $581,646.

The agreement calls for the county to remit a one-time refund to The Meadows of $681,940.
