What is Your Neighborhood's Median Income?

'Rich Blocks, Poor Blocks' Map lets you see the median income for Canonsburg, Cecil, North Strabane and surrounding areas.

An interactive map at the Rich Blocks, Poor Blocks website offers a glimpse at median household incomes, by neighborhoods, in the Canon-McMillan area—or anywhere in the country.

Take, for instance, the Canonsburg area. The map shows a median household income of $49,820.

The Cecil Township area has a median household income of $61,750, while the North Strabane area has a median household income of $68,734.

In comparison, the statewide middle-class income range is $44,750 to $54,425. The information for the map is obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau's 2007-2011 American Community Survey.
