Canon-McMillan Boys Soccer Team Beats Peters—Heads to Title Game

The team won 2-1 over the rival team.

Congratulations to the Canon-McMillan High School boys soccer team, which beat rival Peters Township in the WPIAL semi-finals Wednesday night.

The team next faces Upper St. Clair High School's team Saturday to battle for the title.

And friends of the team wanted Canon-McMillan Patch to make sure readers knew: In school history there has never been a team that has gone as far as the semi-finals.

They asked fans to come out and support the boys Saturday night for the match, which the Canon-McMillan boys soccer Facebook page indicates will be held at 6:45 p.m. at Elizabeth Forward High School.
