Psalms 2:12 - Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and ye perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little, blessed are all they that put their trust in Him

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 14:5-7 - Thomas saith unyo Him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him.

Oh yes!! The uniqueness of Jesus Christ is an amazing truth, one that is very important to any believer. Psalm 2 speaks about how all other worldly leaders will eventually come and go, arise and fade away. But, in the end, it will be the Son, the one worthy of the Kiss, will be left standing. John 14 speaks clearly that there is no other way to the Father, save through Jesus Christ. All forms of self-reliance, forms of religion, and attempts at other avenues, will not be sufficient. The only way mankind can be made right with the Father is through Jesus Christ. The call is to set aside religion, and embrace the Father through Jesus. No only is the Lord Jesus Christ unique amongst world powers, He is unique in the pathway to the Father. "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
