Lil Macs Announce First-Ever Mid-Atlantic Classic Series Tournament

And the association is reaching out to the local business community to help!

The Lil Macs Football Association has announced the first ever Mid-Atlantic Classic Series Tournament.

The tournament will be held over the three-day Thanksgiving weekend and will host teams from the Western part of Pennsylvania—including Bethel Park, Chartiers-Houston and Trinity school districts)—as well as from Ohio and West Virginia.

"We are anticipating 800 players and their families to spend the weekend in our area. They are staying a various local hotels and utilizing the McDowell field, North Strabane Park field and Chartiers-Houston High School field," organizers said in an email.

Organizers said they would like to promote the businesses, restaurants and entertainment venues in the area by providing each player with a welcome packet.

The group is reaching out to local businesses to help fill the welcome packets by promoting the Washington County area.

The association indicated there are business card ads that can double as coupons for $75, a sponsor banner ad to be placed at all three fields for $100 or the business card ads and banner ad for $150.

"This is the first of many tournaments to come, please help us share in this exciting new opportunity and make the tournament a huge success; for your business, Washington County and the Lil Mac Football Association."

As a LilMac parent I applaud the organizers for this event; it will not only highlight the talent of the children but also bring revenue into our community. I would like to congratulate all of the LilMac football team players, cheerleaders, coaches and families on another terrific season.
